Autonomic Nervous System

This is how the Autonomic Nervous System should respond to your everyday life. There should be variations between the Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) and the Parasympathetic Nervous System (PSN), depending on what is happening in our lives, minute to minute. For example, if you are in immediate danger, your SNS, should be come engaged. This helps you respond better and faster to the danger that is present. Once that danger is gone, the PNS, kicks in to restore our bodies to normal functioning.

The goal for a healthy and productive life, is to maintain a homeostatic Autonomic Nervous System. That maybe different for each individual and depend on multiple variables, such as life experiences and health conditions. As well as, optimizing the brain, to function the best that it can function.
